4. What is the CMS distribution approach (on-premise, cloud or hybrid)?
Answer: currently on premise
The DaRWIN CMS can also run on a cloud system.
- RBINS and RMCA each have a physical server but alignment is ongoing in order to merge the hardware servers allowing them to manage separate / parallel databases for each institution.
- We have contacted Belnet to explore the possibility to host DaRWIN servers at the Belnet level avoiding any institution to maintain the hardware and the software infrastructure.
- This can be easily implemented if a MOU between the institutions / political levels can be achieved.
