8. How are users consulted about planned changes to the CMS?

Answer:

Present situation:

  • Continuous contact between users and developers, mostly by mail and Teams, as the developing team is internal to the current using institutions.

Possible scenario if larger consortium:

  • This situation could be adapted in the framework of a bigger consortium adding a specific area in the Naturalheritage portal for the presentation of the recent developments and the consultation of the user community through specific Google surveys for the next developments.
  • It is also possible to prepare the surveys with Plone but users are more comfortable with well known interfaces like Google forms.
